In the Clinical Systems Analyst position, you will collaborate with many groups within and outside the Pharmacy Department to facilitate clinical information systems implementation, application functionality testing and automated systems training programs. As part of our team, you will do more than explore and expand your discipline and skills — your work will directly impact patients at every Cleveland Clinic location and beyond. 

A caregiver in this position works a remote schedule from 8:00AM – 4:30PM, with one monthly onsite day.  

A caregiver who excels in this role will:  

  • Interact with end users to define problems.  
  • Coordinate and conduct education and end user training programs to ensure systems are utilized as designed.  
  • Assist with end user documentation development or a permanent reference for clear, concise information.  
  • Provide implementation assistance for system projects through all phases of the system development life cycle with direction from the Lead Analyst.  

Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:  

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and one year of applicable hospital/major medical center/major clinical information system experience OR High School Diploma/GED, one year of relevant experience and four years of healthcare IT experience OR Associate’s Degree, one year of relevant experience and two years of healthcare experience can  
  • Experience typically supported by a license in a medically related field, such as Nursing, Pharmacy Assisting, Medical Assisting, Medical Technology or EMT 
  • Technical certification for certain departments  
  • Familiarity with the processes and procedures related to healthcare regulatory agencies 
  • In-depth knowledge of clinical theory and practice

Physical Requirements:

  • Working in a stationary position for extended periods
  • Traveling throughout the hospital system
  • Operating a computer and other office equipment.
  • Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information
