Days/Afternoons (United States of America)The Clinical Liaison is primarily responsible for the referral development activity associated with Mercy Acute Rehabilitation Unit and acts as a liaison between internal and external referral sources, and internal operations. The liaison will participate in community and corporate events and reflects the organization's mission, core values and ethics .
The Clinical Liaison is responsible for establishing relationships with physicians, payers, and other referral sources. This position will ensure appropriate patient placement through clinical assessments and screening in conjunction with the internal team.
Responsible for identifying and qualifying new business development opportunities and overseeing the capture management and proposal development processes.
Conduct sales calls on existing and potential referral sources to maintain a constant flow of referrals and perform problem solving as necessary. Actively identify and follow-up on opportunities to increase profitability, efficiency and market share.
MINIMUM EDUCATION
Required Minimum Education: 4 year Bachelors Degree
Specialty/Major: RN/Social Work/SLP/PT/OT
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATIONS (must be non-expired/active unless otherwise stated Required: Current BLS CPR card, Must be a graduate of an accredited RN/PT/OT/SLP program with current state licensure
Preferred: 3-5 years experience in an acute rehabilitation setting
